Trevor & Bailey are the proud owners of Kim Stephens. Kim is a transplant from Seattle where she and her husband Danny followed their trusted Schnauzer Dobber to Blue Ridge. As the elder statesman of the family Dobber knew that there needed to be youth in their new digs. Although he departed the Stephens, Dobber made way for two half brothers that are commonly called the “boys” who ALLOW Kim to work in the Shop. We have strict orders from Trevor and Bailey not to keep her ALL DAY LONG. They cross their legs waiting for her to come home

Tracy, Bella and Java

Bella sought out Tracy Porterfield from her temporary home at the Humane Society of Blue Ridge. Once Tracy introduced Bella, a black Labrador puppy to her fiancée the family was on it’s way. But the family wasn’t quite complete. A friend knew that group needed another to be a family! Java, a German Short-haired Pointer is a recent addition and now makes the family of four complete! Before arriving in Blue Ridge Tracy lived in South Carolina where she met Patrick. They recently tied the knot and Tracy is now Tracy Widmer.

Patty with Kayla

Kayla is one of two Golden Retrievers that reside in the Nichols’ cabin where she takes good care of her “mom” Patty. Kayla came to our home from Adopt-a-Golden Atlanta through a series of miscued trips to locate a playmate for our eldest dog. As it was our good fortune, Kayla’s family was transferred to Hawaii so she decided to stay behind and move to the mountains where she settled in with her new found friend, Cassie.

Todd with Cassie

Cassie claims Todd as her dad and is the Nichols’ eldest Golden who was transplanted from Orlando. Cassie and her original pal Katie were the inspiration behind the relocation to Blue Ridge. Having lived in Central Florida for more than 25 years the two schemed together get their humans to move to a more desirable location. Katie spent her happiest days in her new home before departing and making room for Kayla to come into our lives and keep Cassie young at heart. Be sure to stop by Blue Ridge Adventure Wear where all of our staff will welcome all dogs to the shop!!! We will also allow their humans to come in as well!
